The consultation

Typically, consultations take’s about 30 minutes and will assess things such as lifestyle, diet, strength, fitness level, flexibility, blood pressure and body fat.... sounds scary but it's not!

Why a consultation?

To conduct a basic health, fitness and lifestyle evaluation.  This process is non-invasive and non-threating, and will provide you and your trainer with an indication of your current fitness and health level.
So we can get to know you and to identify your motives, needs, limitations, expectations and goals..
To identify your lifestyle, exercise and eating habits.
To discuss injuries and relevant medical conditions.
To set relevant goals and to create an action plan
To answer any questions you may have

Getting there requires:

 
A vision or goal.
A decision.
A plan of attack.
Structure, time management, organisation and preparation.
A good attitude - physical change is as much about your head as it is about your body.
An understanding of your body and what you are capable of.
Consistency and some self control.
A starting point and checkpoints along the way.
Short, medium and long term goals.
Accountability and responsibility to ensure that the plan is being followed and goals achieved.
Regular reviews to assess progress and modify the plan or goals if necessary.
Someone else to be involved in the process - a role model, a mentor, a teacher to encourage, support, inspire and be accountable to.
